Brief Summary

This is about the use of Bible Building Blocks of the Faith-Unit G in Juarez, Mexico.

Introduction

We taught Unit G in the church, Promesa de Vida, in Juarez. In the past we also used this material in a park for Vacation Bible School.

Key Factors

The children were used to being taught lessons in a class setting.

This was used with children who knew how to read.

What Was Done

We used this material with children 7 to 12 years old who attend the local elementary school.

We divided each lesson into three or four sessions because there is a lot of material to teach and we prefer to teach a little at a time because we want to be sure that the children learn all of the important concepts in the questions, the Bible verse, and lesson.

Results

The children learned a lot about the Bible and Christian doctrine in an easy way. Everyone here who has worked with this material thinks it is great. It is complete and very easy to use with children who can read. We found it to not be good material for younger children. A good addition to this material would be a video to show the children.

Helpful Information from the Author

This is the second time this church has used the material. Several years ago we taught the entire series.
