The author's goal has been to reduce John Bunyan's, The Pilgrim's Progress into words of one syllable. It is intended for adult beginning readers and for children. Some of the shorter words used may be difficult to understand but the author has tried to avoid hard or technical words.

All names of persons and places have been retained in their original form.
