The Bible: God's Wonderful Book is the first of a five-part series teaching Bible facts to children. This first book tells what the Bible is. It tells who wrote the Bible. It tells how it was written. It teaches about God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. It also teaches about Satan,(God's enemy).
The other titles in the series are:
- Growing: Learning to Walk God's Way
- Our Bodies: Learning to Use Them for God
- Prayer: How to Talk to God
- Witnessing: How to Talk to Others About Jesus
Considerations
- The flip-chart book is 10" x 13", large enough to use with a small group of children.
- The flip-chart has eleven pages of pictures and symbol.
- The teacher's text is a removable pamphlet inside the flip-chart.
- The section can be taught in ten minutes.
- The flip-chart uses shades of orange, grey, black, and white.
Limitations
- This flipchart expects that children can read and understand symbols. It will not be useful for children who are not picture literate.
- The pictures may not be meaningful to children in non-western cultures.
