mkb note of 3May07: THIS LOOKS LIKE AN EXTRA DOCUMENT (by Vic) to help people in adding to the site. So we can find it, for now I'll put it in the Help section but have it "Non-Public."

Summary

Suggestions for making adding and editing easier.

Before adding content to Spark, follow these steps.

  1. Read all the “About Spark” Reference pages in the yellow box.
  2. Remember that short sentences and simple words may help the reader's understanding.
  3. Learn the features of your web browser.
  4. Print out important pages on editing.

When adding content to Spark

  • Continually reference the printed how-to pages that you printed.
  • Open a duplicate copy of your web browser. Click on the browser icon again.
  • Edit on the first copy of the browser. Read how-to screens from the second browser.
  • Write a short description of what you did in the Change Notes: at the bottom.
  • Save your work by clicking on the save button at the bottom of the edit screen.
