One-sentence summary

This article increases awareness of the importance of overcoming differences of worldviews when sharing one's faith.

Description

This is a nine-page article about overcoming barriers in sharing one's faith with someone of another culture. It is in English, but could be easily translated for use with two non-English cultures. Snowden writes about understanding the worldviews of both the person who wants to share Christ and a non-believer of a different culture.

The article will probably be helpful for people who have not thought about aspects of worldview differences and bridging the gap. It is encouraging in that he says, "... in almost every culture there is some positive aspect of their worldview that will serve as a bridge to receiving the Gospel."

Considerations

Limitations

The graphics are geared to the picture-literate. They would not be for people who do not understand pictures of portions of people. The graphic of the world would need to be explained as well. One picture is of a typical comfortable modern Western home with TV, curtains, etc.
