Description
From Their Website
The "Look, Listen and Live" series of 8 audio-visuals is excellent for systematic evangelism and Christian teaching. There are 24 pictures in each book. This series gives studies of Old Testament characters, the life of Jesus, and the young Church. It is particularly suited to bring the Gospel message and basic Christian teaching to non-literate people. The pictures are clear and brightly coloured to attract those who may not be used to visual teaching presentations. Audio Recordings are available in hundreds of languages, and are designed to be played along with the pictures. Playback may be paused from time to time to give opportunity for questions, discussion and further explanations as necessary. The recordings have been made, where possible, using mother tongue speakers with clear voices who are respected in the local community. Local music and songs are sometimes added between pictures. Various checking techniques are used to ensure the accuracy of translation and communication. The recordings are all available in Cassette form. Some are also available on CD, and in MP3 format for downloading. Flipcharts are A3 size (420mm x 300mm or 16.5" x 12") spiral bound at the top. They are suitable for large groups of people. Booklets are A5 size (210mm x 140mm or 8.25" x 6") stapled. They are suitable for small group and individual use. Written scripts are available online in simple English. They are a basic guideline for translation and recording in other languages. They should be adapted to suit the language, culture and thought patterns of the people. Some terms and concepts used may need a fuller explanation or even be omitted in different cultures. Appropriate local stories and applications may be added to the scripts to better illustrate the basic teaching of each picture-story. Flipchart Carry Bags can be used to hold a set of 8 flipcharts. Picture CDs contain all the pictures from the "Look, Listen & Live" as well as the "Good News" and "The Living Christ" picture series. The images are in high resolution black & white TIFF files for printing (up to A4 size at 300 DPI), and medium resolution colour JPEG files for computer display (at 900x600 pixels) or printing (up to A8 size at 300 DPI). Scripts and other resources are also on the CD.

From the Reviewer
These 8 audio cassettes with accompanying picture books (5 ¾” x 8 ¼”) and flipcharts (16.5” x 12”) highlight stories from Genesis 1 to Acts 28 and also include some references to certain epistles. Bible references are printed under each picture. The first 5 cassettes/booklets cover the Old Testament and conclude with a story from one of the Gospels. The last 3 cassettes/ booklets are from the New Testament. Each cassette and booklet takes about half an hour to listen to. The narration is simple and easy to follow and the colorful pictures are also simple and easy to understand. Instrumental music is played between some pictures.
Considerations
This series of audio Bible stories with accompanying pictures is well done. They have already been used in many major and minor languages around the world and in that regard have proved to be cross-culturally accepted and effective. Translating the scripts and making audio recordings in additional languages would be relatively easy to do and would also be an effective means of teaching key Bible stories to small and medium size audiences. I highly recommend that this project be undertaken.
Limitations
I see no limitations or cautions.

Production process
Translate the source script to the vernacular and record the script using local speakers in the vernacular. Cutouts from a kit are placed on a flannel sheet while playing the cassette tape. In the accompanying Ayta drama case history the teacher learned the story from listening to the cassette tape. Then the teacher told the story without use of the tape player.
