High initial impact of visuals

There is evidence that in some cultures, films and videos have a high initial impact that quickly drops off; whereas other forms of media may have low initial impact that increases over time. Local media strategy should include various types of additional appropriate media to reinforce the intended message over a long period of time. An example would be to have a lesson book prepared to follow a video.
