One-sentence summary

Bible stories retold for children.

Description

The Children's Bible in 365 Stories, with at least two million copies in print, includes all the well-known Bible stories. Their are sections that most children's Bibles do not include. These sections are: poetry, prophets, and New Testament letters. This makes it a readable and very complete children's Bible. There is a story for each day of the year.

The author says, “Not everything from the Bible could be included in this book. I have picked out the most exciting stories. But I also picked parts that make the separate parts fit together to make a whole picture. The Bible shows children what God is like and what we are like. Because God never changes and human nature stays the same in all cultures, the Bible is always up-to-date. The Bible answers the sort of questions that people everywhere wonder about. Questions such as: `What is God like?' `Why is there unhappiness and evil and death in our world?' `What is the purpose of living?' and `Does it matter how I behave?'”
