A curriculum of Bible truths that includes multiple activities for children.

Description

Bible Building Block of the Faithtext is a series of lesson books written for children 4-12 years old. They are not dated and re-usable. Each set helps children learn Bible truths. Each lesson book contains:

  • Five to seven lessons about one subject.
  • A packet of self-adhesive paper
  • A packet of colored visuals to use on a flannel board.
  • Songs on a CD

Each lesson includes:

  • Three or four parts to teach in forty-minutes
  • Questions with answers
  • Bible verses to remember
  • A Bible story
  • Theme song and Scripture songs
  • Games that help children remember the lesson
  • Crafts

Titles of the fourteen sets are:

  • Series A – Who, What, Why, How of Creation ($50.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches that God made us in His image to bring Him glory by our behavior.
  • Series B – Questions and Answers About God ($65.00 US) This six-lesson set teaches that God is one God in three persons. He is everywhere, knows everything, and can do all His holy will.
  • Series C – God's Wonderful Library ($65.00 US) This six-lesson set teaches children that through the Bible they can learn all they need to know about how to love and obey God. This is a survey of the Bible on a level that even little children can understand.
  • Series D – How Can I know I Will Live Forever? ($60.00) This six-lesson set teaches that we have an immortal soul which will live forever with God in Heaven or be cast forever into outer darkness.
  • Series E – Covenants and Promises ($65.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches that God is a covenantal God. It explains the covenant that God made with Adam, which Adam did not keep, and how it was kept by Christ.
  • Series F – How to Fight the Deceiver ($65.00 US) This six-lesson set teaches the doctrine of original sin and God's provision for our fight against Satan. It is based on Ephesians 6, and teaches children how to put on the full armor of God.
    • A magnetic Christian Soldier (7inches by 10 inches is available for an additional cost of $19.95.) This magnetic soldier has removable armor designed to reinforce the truths taught in series F.)
  • Series G – The New Creation ($65.00 US) This six-lesson set teaches the wonderful process of our redemption, adoption, justification and sanctification and glorification.
  • Series H – The Holy Spirit, Our Helper ($50.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches children to understand that the Holy Spirit was sent to help them repent of sin, believe in Christ, and persevere in living holy lives.
  • Series K – Prophets, Priests, Kings and Me ($65.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches how Jesus is our prophet, priest and king and how He equips us to be prophets, priests and kings for Him.
  • Series L1 - The Ten Commandments, Volumn 1 ($65.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches our duty to God based on the first four commandments as seen through Jesus' summary of the commandments in Luke 10: 27-28.
  • Series L2 - The Ten Commandments, Volumn 2 ($60.00 US) This seven-lesson set teaches our duty to our fellow man based on the last six commandments of God. It also teaches the reason God gave the commandments since no man except Jesus can obey them perfectly.
  • Series M – The Lord's Prayer ($75.00 US) This seven-lesson set teaches the deep meaning of each petition of the prayer Jesus taught His disciples.
  • Series N – The Sacraments ($65.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches why there are two sacraments, baptism and the Lord's supper, and their meaning for each of us.
  • Series O – He is Coming Again ($60.00 US) This five-lesson set teaches the fact of Jesus' return for His own and the glories of Heaven which He has prepared for them.

Considerations

  • This series is very detailed and doctrinally rigid.
  • Each set can be purchased individually.
  • Bible verses used are from the New Internation Version (NIV) of the Bible

Limitations

  • These sets might be useful for people groups that have a written language.
  • The self-adhesive paper might fall apart in humid climates.
  • Most pictures are symbolic. They will be difficult for many children to understand.
  • The games require children to be literate.
  • Many words used are adult doctrine.
  • Each set is expensive.

  • Use only in a literate culture!
